Hoi allemaal,
We zijn inmiddels, gisteren, in Galicie beland en dat betekent dat het eind van onze Camino in zicht is. Voor dat het echter zover is hebben we nog een hele week om te genieten van een prachtige omgeving. We lopen strukken van de Camino over paden van meer dan 1000 jaar oud en hebben spectaculaire uitzichten als we onze beloning ophalen na een uiterst inspannende klim. Het blijft een hele inspanning om de tocht uit te lopen maar we hebben het er met plezier voor over. Aan het eind van de dag wacht steeds het genot van eindelijk de sandalen te mogen uittrekken en een koude Cervaza te kunnen drinken. Zaterdag, of als het zo uitkomt eendag later hopen we in Santiago te zijn en tot nu toe geloven we niet dat we ons zorgwen hoeven te maken over de branden. Over het algemeen reist het bericht over de Camino erg snel maar tot nu toe hebben we niks zorgelijks gehoord. Hopen maar dat het zo blijft en anders moeten we op een andere manier in S. de C. zien te komen. Voorlopig geen zorg dus!
Vandaag hebben we ons als echte pelgims gedragen en op de dag des Here, een rustdag, maar 7 km gelopen. Dat had vooral te maken met het feit dat we gisteren voor het eerst werden geconfronteerd met het gegeven dat we nergens een slaapplaats meer konden vinden.

Fantastisch jullie zijn er bijna.Met het heilige vuur in de kuiten moet het laatste stuk geen punt zijn.
